A Level Art Trip to The Tate Modern GalleryBack
Our A Level Art students recently visited The Tate Modern Gallery in London. The day begun by walking through the garden in St Paul’s and observing the amazing architecture in the area, before carrying on our journey to the gallery.
The students looked at a wide-range of contemporary artwork, taking photos and sketching from observation in hand-made books made for the trip. The students’ latest project will be inspired by a curated exhibition called ‘Materials and Objects’, as well as other artwork seen, such as Anicka Yi’s ‘In Love With The World’.
This fascinating piece is inspired by our growing interaction with AI; the concept shows floating robots that take on the form of jellyfish-like creatures. The students had a great day out and look forward to visiting more galleries soon.
