Careers: Non-Pilot Jobs in Aviation Zoom Workshop

On the 30th of April 35 Year 10 students took part in the non-pilot aviation workshop. Employees from air traffic control, airport security, baggage handlers, airplane engineering and airline companies gave presentations on their roles and the responsibilities and skills required to perform their jobs successfully. They also talked a little bit about their career path and the qualifications they required when they began their careers at entry level.
Students had the opportunity to ask questions during the presentations about the salaries, promotional prospects and training courses provided for the various roles.
Students were highly engaged and everyone of them now have a far greater understanding of various opportunities available to them within the aviation industry.
