Year 8 Football Fixture vs. Eastbury School

The Warren School played Eastbury in the Barking & Dagenham Borough League.

We started the game very strongly and went a goal up early in the game when Haseeb lobbed the goalkeeper from the edge of the penalty area.

The score was 1-0 to The Warren at half time.

Eastbury then scored an equaliser five minutes after the start of the second half to make the score 1-1.

We were not level for very long because Mckenzie then scored a lovely goal when he run onto a ball and slotted it into the corner of the net from the edge of the penalty area.

Eastbury desperately tried to get back into the game and there were chances at either end, before Hayden scored a wonderful goal in the last minute to seal the victory by running through on goal and taking the ball past the goalkeeper before slotting it into the roof of the net.

The final score was 3-1 to The Warren School.
