Futures Evening (Careers)- Tuesday 3rd  February 2026

You are invited to attend the Futures Evening event on Tuesday 3rd February 2026 from 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm.

As part of the Careers offer at the Warren School, we will holding our annual 'Futures Evening' in the main school building on Tuesday 3rd February. Please enter via the school reception and there will be an initial presentation at 5.45pm in the school canteen.

Research shows that young people who had been in contact with several employers were nearly twice as likely to believe that they had a good idea of the knowledge and skills needed for the job they wanted to do.

This event, leading up to National Careers Week, is a very important evening; attendance at this evening will be crucial and while we invite all Year 9 and 12 students first, the event is open to all students who would like to attend. Your child will have the opportunity to hear from various professionals regarding their chosen career and ask questions about future pathways and possible subjects to study.

Our presenters will talk about what they do, what education route they took. E.g. University, FE college, Apprenticeship and what advice they would give young people hoping to get into their field.

After the main presentation, you and your child will be invited to attend two smaller workshop presentations in the main building. The first presentation will commence at 6pm and the final presentation will be at 6.30pm. Presentation choices are not guaranteed.

In order for your child to attend please log on to your Parent Pay Account where this event will be listed under Active Payment Items. Please complete all the required information, including parental consent and required information. This must be completed by Friday 23rd January and we look forward to welcoming you to this exciting event.
