On Wednesday 11th November 2018 The Warren School came together to commemorate those who gave their lives in all wars and also remember loved ones who are sadly no longer with us. This was especially poignant during the Pandemic where we also paid tribute to everyone who has worked so hard throughout this especially difficult time. Students who attend Army and Police Cadets paraded and lay the wreath. One of our amazing students read the Exhortation and the Kohima Eptaph below:
The Exhortation is recited:
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
The Kohima Epitaph is recited:
When you go home, tell them of us and say,
For your tomorrow, we gave our today.
