The Warren School – GCSE Results 2022

Students at The Warren School celebrated their GCSE results, having sat exams for the first time since 2019.  Students achieved the highest ever results and reversed the national trend by improving on grades from 2021, including the highest number of grade 9s the school has ever recorded.

Among the top achievers, Arun Sarakitgoson and Tanuja Ashrafi both achieved 8 grade 9s.  Tanuja said, “I am thrilled with my results.  All my hard work has really paid off.”

Keren Koleoso achieved 5 grade 9s, 3 grade 8s and, 2 grade 7s.  Keren said, “I am so pleased to have achieved these results and I’m grateful for the support the school has given me.”

Also amongst the other high achievers were Luna Khaled (5 grade 9s and 2 grade 8s), Meethra Visahar (4 grade 9s and 4 grade 8s), Sorin Vegolea (3 grade 9s and 4 grade 8s) and Ayon Ahmed (1 grade 9 and 6 grade 8s).  Twins Maliha and Ramisa Chowdhury achieved 16 grade 9 and 8s between them.

Headteacher Jennifer Ashe said, “We are delighted that the students were able to sit exams this year and that their hard work was rewarded with these outstanding results, the highest results that The Warren School has achieved.  We are also pleased that so many are staying on at our Sixth Form and look forward to their future successes.”
