Year 11 students visited the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park as part of their GCSE course to look at the impacts that the regeneration project has had on the environment, but also on the quality of life of its residents.

Students gathered data using a variety of data collection techniques, such as Environmental Quality Surveys and field sketches, and then formed various hypotheses. They also compared the quality of buildings that have been modernised, with those that have not been. Students enjoyed being real-life geographers in the field and enjoyed experiencing what it is like gather data first hand!
