Engineers of the Future Workshop
BackOn Tuesday 1st February 2022, a select group of Year 10 engineering students took part in a careers workshop run By Gardiner and Theobald Construction.
The students took part in various team building exercises including building a tower from newspaper that would be judged on height, cost, aesthetics and value to the local community. The students then went on to present their ideas and pitch them to industry experts from Gardiner and Theobald.
This was a great workshop that fostered links with industry and will hopefully open pathways for students in the future.
