Winter Showcase

On Thursday 13th December Warren held it’s Winter Showcase celebrating the talents of our amazing students. This year we had more Year 7 and 8 students participating than ever before and a sell out audience to enjoy the evening. Performances ranged from pieces worked on by students in this Music classes, to Bands that students have rehearsed during their lunch breaks. One of the highlights of the show was over 40 Year 7s performing a piece from The Greatest Showman.

Charlie – “It was really fun and I felt an adrenaline rush go through when I had to perform. Being in a band encouraged me to learn a new instrument”

Mariam – “It was a fun experience because I’ve always wanted to get the opportunity to improve my singing skills. We get to learn new songs in choir and how to sing harmonies.”

Antonina – I’ve always wanted to show my parents what we do in school so performing the Greatest Showman was really good. It was good to see other people perform as I learnt from their skills.”

Jules – “It was the best experience of my life! I definitely want to be in the next showcase. My mum thought the whole show was spectacular!”

Pelumi – “It is thrilling to perform in front of others and my mum was proud of me.”

Rayaan – “It was amazing to be able to perform in something that I have never done before. It was exciting because at first I was a bit nervous.”

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped put the show on.
