At Warren School we offer a wide range of academic and vocational courses.
These include A Levels, and BTEC Level 3
The Warren School is building a successful and vibrant sixth form, where students routinely achieve excellent grades and progress onto Universities, Higher Apprenticeships and successful careers.
The range of courses on offer has been carefully selected in order to meet the needs of a wide range of students and the needs of our community.
Our sixth form provision is designed to open doors to our students, offering them the best opportunities to move into successful futures.
All students should have the opportunity to gain entrance into university if it is their wish.
We offer a large range of academic and vocational qualifications; our pupils are guided on a programme based on their prior attainment and study or employment goals.
Students who have not achieved grade 4-9 in Maths and English will have the opportunity to re-sit as part of their study programme.
Added value, non-qualification activity in our core programme includes age appropriate PSHE and the successfully pioneered Project100 programme which offers enrichment on a range of levels, including; organisational skills, note taking and critical thinking. It is designed to support every student in becoming the best they can be and to enhance their potential in the competitive worlds of Higher Education and careers. In addition you will be offered a choice of further enrichment activities and qualifications such as; Financial Management, Literacy Leaders, Sports Leaders, and Core Maths.
Work Experience opportunities are supported through our Futures Events and through our network of local and national businesses and organisations. We work closely with the Borough Careers Advisory Team and all students will be given the opportunity to have a careers interview.
