On Friday the 11th of October, Year 12 and Year 13 Art attended a trip to Tate Britain and Block 336. The students spent the morning recording and creating observational drawings from the artwork. The group then went to Block 336 to see contemporary art by Artist Kat Anderson. Students had a short talk from the Educational Director, they then watched a short film and looked around the exhibition. The students then had the opportunity to go backstage to the Studio spaces, and have a look at the working studio spaces in the gallery. Students were a credit to the school and asked thoughtful and constructive questions. They will produce coursework in their books in response to the trip.
