As a Barking and Dagenham School, The Warren School’s admission arrangements fall within the current LA policy. The LA administers admissions for the new Year 7 intake.

The school’s Planned Admission Number (PAN) is 240 for each year group in Years 7 – 11.

Details of how to apply are available, on request, from the school. Please contact us if you would like more information.

If you are planning to choose The Warren School as a preference for your child moving from year 6 to 7, then please contact the local authorities cohort transition team if you have any questions.

If the school receives more applications than there are places (oversubscribed) it is the admission criteria that will decide if a place if offered to your child. Make sure you read the admission criteria for Barking and Dagenham schools on the following link:

Year 6 Taster Day

Year 6 taster day

Following a hugely successful Year 6 Transition day, on Friday 29th June, I was honoured to welcome a variety of students from over 50 Primary schools from around the local area to an exciting and engaging day of lessons and activities. As the new Achievement Team Leader for Year 7, starting in September, I was delighted with the superb intake of positive, confident and mature students we have starting here at The Warren School. The day was full of potential scientists, writers, sports men and women of the future.
The response back from the students was positive and we cannot wait for them to take the next steps in their educational journey to success here at The Warren School.

Year 5 Taster Day

The Warren School was very pleased to welcome pupils from Warren Juniors, Marks Gate Junior school and John Bramston Primary on Friday the 6th July 2018. Pupils had the opportunity to participate in lessons in a wide range of subjects including art, science, mathematics, design and technology and media.

Thank you to all staff involved in making our Year 5 day such a success.

The taster day was an opportunity for the Year 5 students to gain an insight into what The Warren School has to offer them. The Year 5 pupils that attended The Warren School were amazing. The behaviour and enthusiasm demonstrated throughout the day was exceptional.

The school will be open for tours from 5pm to 7pm and the Headteacher will be speaking at 6pm.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Warren School.
